Synopsis

When alien detective Kazan Vek lands in Mongolia, he has one mission: find the missing scientist Natoya Bator and bring her back to their home planet of Mor. But Kazan is quickly captivated by the beauty of Earth. On his planet, neither the people nor the plants heal from any injury; on Earth, life bursts from the trees, the humans, and every living thing. Wounded already at the age of 19, Kazan longs for the healing power of Earth to be extended to Mor.

With the help of Geriel, his human interpreter, Kazan begins to unravel the mystery of Natoya’s disappearance. Yet as they interview Mongolian government officials and the remaining alien scientists on Earth, they continue to hear whispers of a darkand, mysterious cult called the Cult of the Living God– a god that may be in conflict with Mor’s Goddess Who Wounds. As Kazan and Geriel dig deeper, they realize one thing:.
